Recently, they acquired a few businesses therefore there is an internal requirement to fast-track programs to ensure processes aligned and compliant with ISO standards and to ensure a consistent safety process across the group.
Description
The HSEQ Adviser will support the HSEQ Team and assist with developing the Group Management System to ISO Standards in agreement with key stakeholders.
Key duties:
- Develop Group HSEQ Management System policies, procedures, templates, guides and training material with Jaybro Group values – act fast and keep it simple, according to document control system and its availability to end users.
- Develop safe work procedures using risk assessments and hierarchy of controls to mitigate risks to agreed levels and compliant to HSE Laws and Australian Standards.
- Update change management plan and develop actions to engage, communicate and consult with key stakeholders and people leaders.
- Develop tools, guide and training material to enable HSE legal assessments, risk assessments, SDSs, incidents & investigations, Safety Alerts, NCRs, CARs, etc.
- Plan and undertake HSEQ evaluations, internal auditing and reporting finding together with corrective actions as required.
- Develop minimum standards for high-risk processes and activities to minimise exposure to fatal and serious risk injuries.
Profile
- Territory qualified
- HSEQ Diploma desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO Standards, Risk Management and WHS Laws
- At least 5 years of experience in developing HSEQ Management System to ISO Standards in manufacturing, supply chain and warehousing industries
- Exposure to ISO Standards JAS ANZ Auditing
