HR Generalist
5-6 Month Contract
We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused HR Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives on variety, enjoys partnering with leaders, and is passionate about creating great employee experiences. You’ll be responsible for delivering end-to-end generalist support across the employee lifecycle, while also playing a key role in shaping and implementing people initiatives.

You’ll be responsible for delivering end-to-end generalist support across the employee lifecycle, while also playing a key role in shaping and implementing people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on all people-related matters, including performance, development, engagement, and employee relations.
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes including role briefing, advertising, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver timely, high-quality recruitment outcomes aligned with workforce needs and culture fit.
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees across key touchpoints such as onboarding, offboarding, leave, policies, and systems.
- Support organisational change, workforce planning, and talent initiatives in partnership with business leaders.
- Drive and support culture and engagement activities, recognition programs, and employee feedback initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and general HR administration.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
- Minimum 5 years +
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and consultative approach.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
