The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner or Junior HR Manager to join a globally connected professional services firm based in Sydney. This 10–12 month parental leave contract offers exposure to a diverse HR generalist remit within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
In this hands-on role, you will provide end-to-end HR support and strategic advice to a client group of approximately 110 staff. Reporting to the Head of Operations (Australia) and Regional Head of HR, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the business.

Resourcing & Talent Management
You are a seasoned HR professional with at least 5 years’ experience in a senior HR business partnering or HR management role. Ideally, you will have worked in a professional services or legal environment and possess a strong understanding of the Australian employment landscape. You will also be available to start this contract in July 2025 and provide full commitment.

Resourcing & Talent Management
- Partner with leaders to forecast workforce needs and manage recruitment activities.
- Oversee recruitment campaigns, interviews, onboarding, and secondment programs.
- Manage graduate and internship programs in collaboration with leading universities.
- Lead performance review processes and support coaching, feedback, and talent development.
- Partner with leaders to address performance challenges and identify high-potential staff.
- Provide commercially sound advice on employee matters, policies, grievances, and restructuring.
- Stay abreast of legislation and industry trends to ensure policy compliance and risk mitigation.
- Support annual remuneration and bonus reviews.
- Participate in compensation benchmarking and contribute to global and local HR initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of HR systems and support audit and compliance activities, including WGEA reporting.

- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or related discipline.
- Solid experience in performance management, recruitment, and employee relations.
