About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a fast-paced, purpose-driven organisation at a pivotal time of growth and transformation. The HR function is evolving, with the roll-out of a new ATS, HRIS, EVP and Safety Management System, and this role will sit right at the heart of that journey.

The HR Business Partner will partner closely with operational leaders across customer operations, account management, project management and workforce allocation, supporting the “heartbeat” of the organisation.

This is a hands-on, influential role for someone who enjoys variety, pace, and building strong relationships while driving meaningful people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

HR Partnering & Advisory
  • Act as a trusted advisor to People Leaders, coaching and empowering them to lead effectively and confidently
  • Facilitate performance discussions, reviews and people processes, while enabling leaders to own and deliver challenging conversations
  • Support leaders through complex employee relations and investigations, with escalation of high-risk matters to the GM HR & Safety
People Operations & BAU
  • Manage end-to-end transactional HR activities across the employee life-cycle
  • Ensure consistent, compliant and best-practice HR processes and documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies, systems and ways of working
Talent & Attraction
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end recruitment, including workforce planning, attraction strategies and selection
  • Drive recruitment-focused projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support and embed the organisation’s Employee Value Proposition
Engagement, Development & Culture
  • Partner with leaders to lift engagement and capability through coaching and development initiatives
  • Support learning, onboarding and divisional induction programs, ensuring a strong employee experience
  • Actively contribute to internal communications and social engagement—this role suits someone confident presenting and influencing
Systems, Reporting & Insights
  • Play a key role in implementing and embedding new HR systems (ATS, HRIS and Safety systems)
  • Deliver meaningful HR reporting and insights to support business decision-making
About You

You are a proactive, people-centric HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys balancing operational delivery with strategic impact. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, but equally confident influencing senior leaders. You will be able to back yourself and your experience, bringing to life the impact you have had in your career journey to date. 

You will bring:
  • Proven experience managing transactional HR BAU
  • Demonstrated capability handling ER/IR matters and investigations
  • Strong experience coaching managers and people leaders
  • End-to-end recruitment experience, ideally in a high-volume or project-driven environment
  • Experience delivering HR reporting and insights
  • Hands-on experience using HR platforms and systems
  • A confident communication style, with a genuine interest in engagement and presentation
Working Arrangements
  • Office-based role, with the opportunity to explore a 4:1 hybrid model after six months, once you’re fully embedded in the business
  • Pre-employment testing will form part of the recruitment process
