Client Details

A leader within the Industrial sector, our client is on a massive growth trajectory and as a result of an internal promotion, is seeking to appoint an experienced and grounded HR Adviser into the team to the support the operations side of the business. 

In addition to HR generalist activity, there is scope for the successful applicant to support an array of projects within the diversity, equity and inclusion space.

Description 

The HR Adviser is responsible for providing a range of high quality, accurate and timely HR advice, administrative and support services to ensure the delivery of people management initiatives, projects, and reporting activities.

  • Provide high quality, accurate and timely HR advice and support to managers and employees in line with legislative requirements
  • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organisational change, and all other employee-relations matters
  • Implement a range of HR policies, procedures and processes across recruitment and on-boarding/off boarding, training, staff movements, establishment, leave, payroll, WHS and injury management
  • Deliver a range of administrative and support services including records management, developing HR correspondence, meeting and event management, and project documentation to support the effective operation of the HR team Source and compile a range of HR information across all HR projects and prepare documentation for a variety of organisational applications and databases to communicate HR information and inform decision making
  • Identify and analyse emerging issues, trends, statistics and information relating to employee life cycle activities to inform effective decision making, including preparing reports, submissions and information
  • Update and maintain HR records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is current, accurate, accessible and stored correctly
  • Identify, analyse and recommend continuous improvement in HR and coordinate the delivery of projects to improve the delivery of HR initiatives and services


Profile

An experienced HR Adviser with at least 3-5 years experience and the credibility to bring leaders on the journey in line with legislative requirements

To be successful in this application, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field
  • Proven success working in an HR Advisory capacity with generalist expertise
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills 
  • Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment and workplace safety
