The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of People to join a fast-growing, well established organisation within their Paramatta office

In this exciting role, you will lead the human resources strategy and operations, and drive both strategic and hands-on initiatives to ensure the rapidly scaling workforce is capable, compliant, and engaged in delivering exceptional care. 

  • Providing strategic HR advice to the Managing Director and Board, using workforce analytics and HR metrics for decision-making.
  • Developing and implementing a People & Culture strategy aligned with business goals and growth objectives.
  • Leading workforce planning and forecasting to ensure staffing aligns with NDIS and Aged Care service demand.
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs with a focus on values-based hiring and employer branding.
  • Overseeing payroll accuracy, employee contracts, and remuneration structures aligned with commercial goals.
  • Driving performance management, leadership development, and learning programs to uplift capability.
  • Leading employee engagement, culture-building, and staff well-being initiatives to reduce turnover.
  • Overseeing WHS compliance, risk management, and safety culture across all business units.


The Successful Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar discipline
  • Minimum 8 years’ Human Resources leadership experience in NDIS, aged care, or broader health/community services sector
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law, Fair Work, SCHADS Award, and industrial relations.
  • Proven ability to design and execute HR strategies supporting organisational growth and profitability.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and workforce analytics to drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and national Police Check.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
