About the Firm 
This full-service accounting and advisory firm in Sydney CBD is looking to add a passionate and conscientious graduate to the team. The team has vast experience in the accountancy space and can provide plenty of insight to the industry. You will work under a team of senior accountants as you refine your business services skills while gaining exposure to tax advisory, outsourced CFO work, and business advisory. With this experience, you will be able to rise through the ranks of this mid-tier firm and fast track to manager, or progress to the Big Four.

About the Role 
You will receive support from senior colleagues as you gain exposure to a wide array of business services. Regular duties will include: 
  • Work independently and with assistance on client portfolios and build client rapport 
  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF. 
  • Exposure to a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a. 
  • Introduction to Outsourced CFO and Business Advisory work 
  • Hands on work with SME's from a variety of different industries, such as energy and renewables, retail, and tech. 
  • Observe colleagues as they provide advisory for clients & external agencies. 
  • Liaise with clients alongside a colleague 
 

About You
 
  • 6 – 18 months prior experience in a public practice accounting firm 
  • Excellent communication skills! 
  • Ability to work independently on basic compliance tasks 
  • Must have Australian Permanent Residence or Citizenship  
  • Must be based in Australia
