About the Position
We are in search of a dynamic and motivated Finance Manager to join the team at the Corporate Head Office located in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the newly formed finance team, contributing significantly to the organization's growth and success. In conjunction with the Financial Controller, you will take ownership for finance processes, proceedures and controls; partner with operational stakeholders and coach finance team members.

In conjunction with the Financial Controller, you will take ownership for finance processes, proceedures and controls; partner with operational stakeholders and coach finance team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts including reporting and commentary from various sources/business units
- Assistance in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Preparation of deliverables for financial reporting.
- Deliver effective cashflow management strategy for accounts payable
- Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Partner with multiple stakeholders across business units and external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax and other requirements.
- Manage year end audit, financial statement, and tax process with external providers.
- Prepare year end audit files.
- Provide key support to the Financial Controller.
- Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals.
- Review of GST, PAYG, and annual income tax calculations prepared by external accountants.
- Ensure timely and accurate record keeping of the general ledger.
- Qualification gained within a professional services firm
- Energy & drive
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Minimum 5 years PQE
- Strength in controls (setting up frameworks, processes, controls)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
