Currently, they seek a Credit Manager for a 3-month contract to join their dedicated finance team, someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the energy landscape.

Role Overview Our client is looking for a Credit Manager to lead their credit department on a temporary basis. This role encompasses managing the company's credit policies, conducting customer credit assessments, and ensuring effective cash flow and financial stability. The successful candidate will not only manage a team but also drive the collections process and collaborate with various departments to support the company's strategic financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Support the Credit Team: Guide the team towards achieving financial objectives during the contract term.
  • Develop Credit Policies: Formulate and implement strategies that minimize financial risk and support business growth.
  • Customer Credit Assessments: Oversee the process of evaluating credit applications, establishing credit limits, and terms.
  • Optimize Collections: Enhance cash flow through effective collection strategies and manage delinquent accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide insightful reports on credit operations, analyze trends, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Ensure credit policies are aligned with the broader business goals by working closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit management, ideally within the energy sector or similar industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and complex credit portfolios.
  • Expertise in credit analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.
