Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a commercial manager to their growing legal and commercial projects team.
Reporting to the Legal Director and Commercial, this role will involve:
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources
- Managing end-to-end commercial management of large subcontracts
- Effectively manage allocated subcontract packages through all phases,
- Contributing to procurement strategies
- Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market
- Providing leadership and management to commercial and construction team members
- Assessing commercial and contractual risks.
Key Requirements:
- Experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator or front-end construction lawyer
- Demonstrated experience across all stages of subcontract management
- Exposure to a range of projects
- Strong understanding of contract law.
- Proven capability in managing commercial negotiations.
- Understanding of document control and records management requirements.
