About the Firm 

Conduct your work in a stunning office on the 45th floor, overlooking the whole of Sydney. You will work with well renown clients with turnovers ranging from $50 – 800m and complex structures. In your executive position, you will handle $1.5million in fees, and this will increase to $3.5 million by the time you reach partnership. In this buzzing office, no two days are the same, and you will always feel challenged and stimulated.  

The role will be largely in business advisory, such as management accounting and tax consulting, however revision of your team’s compliance work is expected. You can also gain exposure to corporate tax accounting if desired. This is an opportunity to really engage with your profession, where you can provide value-add services and join partners in business development projects. 
 

About the Culture 

There is no micro-management at this firm. You will be trusted to lead your team to success, and you will receive plenty of assistance from partners and educators to do so. The firm is very close, and often holds social events and trainings to foster connection and nurture capability. There is an open-door policy, and the firm wants to hear your feedback on clients, business development, culture, and projects as you progress through your journey to Partner. The office itself is bright, with incredible views of Sydney CBD – on a clear day you can see all the way to the Blue Mountains! However, flexibility and work-life balance is also well understood, and you are welcome to work from home 2 days a week. 
 

About You 

You will lead and mentor a team of 5 or 6 accountants while answering directly to Partners. The right candidate will be driven and confident in their advisory capabilities, and have excellent interpersonal skills when engaging with clients. In addition, you must have: 
  • Full CA/CPA qualification 
  • Over 8 years business services experience 
  • Excellent people skills and confidence for meeting clients 
  • Experience managing a team of staff including senior accountants 
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills 
  • Australian permanent residency and be onshore
