Advisory Officer – Benefits & Personal Insurance
6-Month Contract | Parramatta (Onsite Only)

 

We’re seeking an Advisory Officer to support a government-led project focused on ensuring customers receive their full pension entitlements and assessing eligibility for Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and confirm correct pension entitlements from sources such as Services Australia, DVA, or overseas institutions.
  
  
• Identify customers who may qualify for a TPD insurance claim based on criteria such as age, cover status, and claim history.
  
  
• Prepare and extract eligible cases for escalation to legal partners.
  
  
• Support the delivery of service improvement projects through research, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  
  
• Assist with reports, data analysis, and implementation of project methodologies.
  
  

About You:

• Paralegal or insurance claims background (particularly TPD) strongly preferred.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and apply eligibility criteria.
  
  
• Confident working with sensitive customer information.
  
  
• Comfortable using and learning internal databases and systems (full training provided).
