We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the acquisition of new business while retaining existing clients. As a key player in our organization, you will play a vital role in expanding our market share in the Medium Segment, targeting organizations with 50-300 employees.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for exceeding business targets, executing growth strategies, and working closely with the Sales Manager and Solutions Consultant to drive whole-of-business sales outcomes. To excel in this role, you must possess a proven track record in business sales, face-to-face relationship building, and prospecting new customer opportunities.
 

Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Acquire new business and retain existing clients to drive company revenue and subscriber market share
  • Identify and engage potential high-value business prospects in the Medium Segment
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to build and renew an opportunity pipeline
  • Update and maintain prospect and customer information in the CRM system
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets across product categories, including Mobile, Mobile Broadband, Fixed Voice, and Fixed Data
  • Differentiate our offerings from competitors and effectively engage with Senior Executives
  • Manage a balanced and sustainable pipeline to achieve long-term sales goals
  • Collaborate with the Customer Management Team to identify cross-sell opportunities and maximize customer multi-product holding
  • Implement customer experience strategies to minimize churn and enhance the clients brand in the market
  • Stay informed about global and national trends impacting the mobile, fixed, and digital sector
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Sales Manager to review activity, pipeline, and performance against targets

  • Demonstrated success in business sales, relationship building, and prospecting new customer opportunities
  • Motivated, energetic, and driven to exceed business targets
  • Strong digital engagement skills and experience in lead generation activities
  • Ability to differentiate from competitors and effectively engage with Senior Executives
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in updating prospect and customer information
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive sales outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of global and national trends impacting the mobile, fixed, and digital sector
