Client Details
My client is a giant Energy organisation known for its organic growth, great reputation in the Australian market & for its fantastic culture supporting learning & development, career progression and hybrid WFH flexibility. 
They are seeking a high-calibre Treasury Manager to join the Treasury team in this highly analytical role.
 
Description
This is a great opportunity to lead the funding, origination, structuring and execution of deals within a dynamic environment and with C-suite stakeholder liaison.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide recommendations to develop industry leading capital structure, funding and ratings strategy to support the growth of the business whilst achieving a competitive cost of debt
  • Provide financial analysis and structuring advice for pipeline projects
  • Originate, structure and execute the debt financing transactions and ongoing management of the facilities
  • Ensure maintenance of treasury risk management systems, forecasting tools and analytics to support effective decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Finance and the business to determine capital funding requirements to devise capital funding strategies.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure robust scenario modelling on pipeline projects to assist with capital planning and ensure maintenance of required credit metrics.
  • Deliver high quality Board papers and presentations in relation to Treasury matters, as required.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders including the Group Treasurer and manage external relationships with lenders
Profile
To be successful, you must have:
  • 10+ years Corporate Treasury experience in Energy/Utilities/FMCG/Property/Financial Services 
  • 10+ years experience with funding, origination, structuring, deal execution, liquidity, FX and interest rate hedging
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivots, v-lookups, complex formulas, VBA) 
  • Ability to build financial models from scratch, work with and manipulate large data sets in Excel 
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem solving/ analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, internal controls, risk and compliance;
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualification will be highly regarded

The salary on offer for this permanent role is $250k to $270k base + super.
