Accounts Receivable Officer | Large Manufacturer | Hybrid Work | Immediate Start Sector: Manufacturing
Location: Ermington / Western Sydney (Hybrid Work – 2 Days WFH)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract to Permanent

Our Client Our client is a well-established and industry-leading manufacturer with operations across Australia and New Zealand. Recognised for its quality products and commitment to continuous improvement, the business supports a number of well-known brands within the construction and consumer goods sectors. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their collaborative finance team and take ownership of the end-to-end receivables function.

The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will:

  • Manage the full accounts receivable process including invoicing, receipting, and allocations.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding debts in a professional and timely manner.

  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve billing queries and ensure accuracy in customer accounts.

  • Prepare and send monthly customer statements and maintain credit control procedures.

  • Assist with month-end reporting, journals, and reconciliations.

  • Support the wider finance team on ad hoc reporting and process improvement initiatives.

About You
  • 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role (manufacturing or similar environment preferred).

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in processing and reconciliation.

  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar will be advantageous).

  • Proactive, organised, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
