The business is globally recognised as an employer of choice with a product range impacting on peoples health all over the world. Working within their new Capital Equipment team he business is looking for a new Supply Planner on site in the Lower North Shore to lead the category for high value products delivered into hospital theatres.

Description 

Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager you will take responsibility for a particular category of products delivering equipment solutions into hospital theatres. You will control inventory and ensure continuity with high value, long lead time product solutions. You will be the main point of contact for external suppliers, manage inbound freight costs and handle order placement, data accuracy and warehouse issues. Specifically you will:

-Efficiently manage inventory portfolios to minimize waste whilst maintaining high service performance through strategic purchasing and creating detailed inventory plans
-Execute procurement of products from global manufacturers within the ERP system, including handling PO changes and delivery dates. 
-Form first class relationships with the broader sales and operations teams communicating supply issues and delivery dates
-Oversee inbound freight for the product category working closely with the logistics  leaders
-Manage planning parameters for portfolios, such as ABC classification, safety stock levels, minimum order quantity, lead time, and product launch/obsolescence. 
-Collaborate with the Demand Planner to support the monthly IBP cycle, providing input on demand plans and highlighting potential revenue risks. 

Profile

You will have at least 2 years experience inventory and planning in a similar role within pharmaceuticals, medical devices or a fast moving consumer goods business. Your experience will be complemented with a degree in a supply chain or other relevant field. You will be polished in terms of stakeholder engagement and be able to build relationships accross the business.
