FutureYou are excited to partner with established aviation company in their search for an exceptional Senior Operations Manager to lead their ground operations team in Mascot Sydney.   

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Operations Manager will take the lead of our clients ground operations, managing employees, analysing trends, profits and loses, existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Working closely with an experienced team, leading the formulation and documentation of SOP’s and other workflow processes.

Your expertise in technical writing and business analysis will be instrumental in ensuring efficient and streamlined operations.

 

key position will provide strategic support and advice on a variety of activities and projects which include employee relations and performance. The HRBP will build trusting relationships with all relevant stakeholders while strengthening engagement between the leadership group and human resources.
 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse and assess operational processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other workflow procedures based on identified areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead multiple projects including for new services - operations planning, implementation and evaluation.
Requirements:

  • Strong business analysis skills to evaluate and optimise operational processes.
  • Excellent technical writing abilities to create comprehensive SOPs and procedures.
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive and manage change, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Airline, military flying operations or FBOs will be highly regarded.
