Our client is looking for a Senior HR Advisor to provide expert, practical support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, advising leaders, managing complex cases, and supporting cultural and strategic initiatives.
About the Role:
As a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll work closely with leaders across the organisation to:
- Provide timely, practical HR advice and coaching to managers and supervisors.
- Support employee relations matters including performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Manage case work from end-to-end with professionalism and discretion.
- Deliver workshops and tools to upskill leaders in people management.
- Support HR projects such as organisational change, restructures, and policy development.
- Collaborate with shared services and Centres of Excellence to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to building a strong, inclusive and values-aligned workplace culture.
Our client is looking for an experienced and confident HR practitioner who is:
- Skilled at interpreting legislation, HR policies and procedures.
- Comfortable advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Passionate about equity, inclusion, and positive workplace culture.
- A degree in Human Resources or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years' experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of HR best practice and employee relations.
- Experience in not-for-profit, healthcare or community sectors.
- Experience working with First Nations peoples or in culturally diverse settings.
