Description 

The Senior Documentation Manager role is integral in overseeing the formulation, negotiation, and completion of Global Financial Markets (GFM) documentation.
Key responsibilities:
  • Support the Head Counsel, Transactions Legal, and the Lead Markets Documentation Manager in delivering top-tier legal services to stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide counsel and aid to GFM Operations concerning Confirmations and other associated documents and matters upon request.
  • Evaluate trust deeds, constitutions, and statutory instruments to ensure the presence of adequate authority for engaging in derivative transactions.
  • Assist in upholding local manuals, policies, and procedures from a legal standpoint related to standard Global Financial Markets (GFM) documentation, as needed.
  • Verify compliance with the pertinent legal stipulations mandated by regulatory authorities such as ASIC, RBA, and APRA.


Profile

  • 4+ years’ experience within a financial institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial markets documentation development.
  • Comprehensive understanding and expertise in the GFM space.
  • Ability to recognise and address customer needs with a proactive and customer-centric approach, aimed at enhancing service provision and delivering customer value.
  • Practical knowledge of banking products, systems, risk management, and lending processes and procedures.
