Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function and act as a key business partner to the wider leadership team. The role will oversee a team of five including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, a Management Accountant, Payroll Officer, and HR.

Key responsibilities include:
- Full financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
- Driving financial and operational performance insights
- Supporting ongoing system and process improvement projects
- Managing cash flow and liaising with external partners (auditors, tax, banks)
- Providing commercial analysis to support business decision-making
To be successful in this role, you will be a CA or CPA qualified finance professional with demonstrated experience in a senior finance role.
You will ideally have:
- A background in building products, logistics, construction supply or retail
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a small to mid-sized finance team
- A commercial mindset with a hands-on approach to process improvement
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Competitive salary package: $150,000 - $160,000 + Super + Bonus
