Risk Strategy Manager
Location: Ryde/ Hybrid
Full-Time | 12 Month Contract

 
Reporting to the Senior Risk Strategy Manager, Governance & Assurance, this senior role is responsible for shaping and overseeing the organisation’s risk management strategy, ensuring it remains best-practice, future-focused, and aligned to overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the organisation’s risk management strategy, plan, policies, standards, and risk appetite statements.
  • Provide oversight and challenge across the organisation’s risk profile, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct regular risk maturity assessments to identify gaps, uplift capability, and enhance risk culture.
  • Build and deliver tailored risk training and development pathways to strengthen enterprise-wide capability.
  • Prepare and present risk reporting for executive and board-level forums.
  • Engage externally with peers and vendors to benchmark and embed best practice in risk management.
  • Drive continuous improvement of risk processes, policies, and standards.
  • (Future) Lead, develop, and mentor a team of risk specialists.
