The Regional IT Manager APAC will lead a small IT function. Overseeing day-to-day technical operations, project delivery, and service management across multiple sites. This role ensures high-quality services are delivered in accordance with agreed SLAs, while supporting strategic business growth and alignment with global IT objectives.


Description 

  • Oversee the delivery of IT services and support across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
  • Manage and resolve service tickets, escalations, and divisional IT inbox queries.
  • Drive adherence to operational policies, procedures, and change management processes.
  • Maintain oversight of regional IT assets, security, compliance, and procurement.
  • Lead regional communication and incident response for major IT service issues.
  • Monitor performance and implement continuous improvements aligned to SLAs.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistent delivery of IT standards and practices.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and asset management across all systems.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure quality and value.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery and present actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver a localised IT roadmap aligned to global technology strategies.
  • Identify and implement quick wins for immediate improvements in efficiency or service.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the regional IT team; provide clear goals, feedback, and development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and performance aligned with company values.
  • Support career development and technical upskilling of team members.
  • Drive a positive and supportive work environment focused on delivering business outcomes.

Profile

  • Similar regional or multi-site IT leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Windows OS, Active Directory, and VMWare.
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, Citrix, and mobile/unified comms environments.
  • Ideally experience in SME manufacturing, logistics, or similar industries.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience.
  • Experience managing regional projects, budgets, and technical operations.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and performance management capabilities.
  • Ability to balance hands-on support with strategic delivery.
  • Willingness to travel.
