Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Employment Relations Specialist to provide expert advice and guidance across a wide range of employee and industrial relations matters.

The Role As an integral member of the People & Culture team, you will:
  • Provide ER/IR advice on complex workplace matters including performance, grievances, discrimination, harassment, and policy interpretation
  • Support enterprise agreement negotiations and union consultations
  • Draft and review HR/IR policies, employment documentation and frameworks
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on people-related initiatives and change programs
  • Monitor legislative changes and ensure organisational compliance
  • Work in alignment with organisational values and a strong community-oriented mission
About You

The successful candidate is a confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills, able to balance empathy and objectivity in sensitive situations. They will thrive in environments where collaboration and professional integrity are key.

You will bring:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, Law, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in an ER/IR advisory role
  • Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, enterprise agreements, and award interpretation
  • Experience in union negotiation and enterprise bargaining preferred
  • A proactive, consultative approach and high attention to detail
