About the role:
  • Manage the entire bid process focusing on government partnerships, ensuring timely submissions and client-focused proposals.
  • Develop bid strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate bid risks by reviewing documents thoroughly and allocating resources accordingly.
  • Build relationships with clients, partners - government.
  • Stay updated on competitor intelligence and market trends to innovate bid strategies.
  • Gather feedback to refine the bid process and contribute to product development.
  • Analysing bid performance for improvement.
 
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Proven experience in bid writing, management, proposal development, or similar.
  • Strong project management/strategic planning skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Experience writing for or working with government agencies is highly desired.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder relations skills.
  • Problem solving skills coupled with effective decision making.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and bid portals.
