Payroll Processing Analyst – Payroll Services

As a Payroll Processing Analyst within the Payroll Services team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every employee is paid correctly and on time, while helping to enhance payroll processes and compliance.

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about people and process improvement? This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across payroll, finance, and HR functions. You’ll support the Payroll Team Leader and wider Payroll Services team in the day-to-day running of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every step.
You’ll take ownership of payroll processing, help resolve complex queries, and identify opportunities to simplify and automate systems and workflows. Collaboration will be key — you’ll work closely with internal teams, service providers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused payroll services.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the Payroll Team Leader and team with end-to-end payroll operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payments to employees and statutory bodies.
  • Maintain compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve payroll issues and respond to employee queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive standardisation and automation.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Participate in regular service reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll or similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of payroll, finance, HR, and reporting processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems such as SAP and UKG (Kronos).
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and Payroll (desirable).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on process efficiency.
