You’ll take ownership of payroll processing, help resolve complex queries, and identify opportunities to simplify and automate systems and workflows. Collaboration will be key — you’ll work closely with internal teams, service providers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused payroll services.

What You’ll Do
- Support the Payroll Team Leader and team with end-to-end payroll operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to employees and statutory bodies.
- Maintain compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve payroll issues and respond to employee queries.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive standardisation and automation.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Participate in regular service reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll or similar role.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of payroll, finance, HR, and reporting processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as SAP and UKG (Kronos).
- Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and Payroll (desirable).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on process efficiency.
