The goal is to ensure that the right structures, accountabilities, and capabilities are in place to support the success of various functional areas or projects.
Key accountabilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of organisational design that delivers and ensures enterprise wide workforce transformational outcomes are achieved.
- Drive organisational design consistency and alignment.
- Advise key stakeholders on efficiency, agility and effectiveness of organisations design and changes, including current structures, restructures, job redesign and process optimisation in alignment with remediation requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure organisational design initiatives align with strategic goals
- Manage organisation design within organisation design principles and matrix framework and review and adjust throughout to ensuring structure remains fit for purpose.
- Partner with P&C business partnering Teams to develop and implement tools and resources for leaders and teams, to support the evolution of work and the adoption and application of the required organisation design principles
- Provide oversight, quality assurance and coordination for the preparation of role descriptions, and the job evaluation process to ensure compliance and consistency and ensure governance of organisational design, job families and creation and capability alignment across the organisation
- Benchmark effectiveness of organisational and job design and ensure best practices are implemented by staying informed of leading organisational design and evolution of work trends and practices.
- Consistently achieving service delivery objectives given stakeholder expectations, volume, resource constraints and complexity
- Developing and maintaining external and internal relationships and communications with key stakeholders
- Keeping up to date with the range, pace and complexity of information and knowledge required to deliver quality service
