Financial Analyst

Client Details
Our client is seeking a highly detailed analyst to partner with one of their most interesting business units in providing financial input and cost analysis into their operations and projects.
You will need to be a clear communicator and have stellar excel skills.  

Responsibilities include:

• Provide month end reporting and analysis.
• Ensure accuracy of the balance sheet reconciliations.
• Annual budget and forecast preparation with variance analysis
• Develop partnerships with the operations team to assist in delivering business outcomes and controlling the costs.
• Communicate results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction and streamlining operations.
• Build cost model to Identify the cost divers, create visibility and transparency to the business.
• Deliver data analysis as required for transparency and problem solving.
• Proactively review the processes and procedures, document recommendations
• Ad Hoc projects and analysis

In order to be considered you will have: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, CPA/CA qualified or studying towards
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a finance and cost analysis-based role
• Financial system experience: Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Concur, TM1
