FutureYou have partnered with a nationally known legal firm in the recruitment of their new Finance Officer, to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will be based out of their Newcastle office.
This is a newly created role to support some growth they have had over the last few years!
Reporting to an incredible Financial Controller, you will join a finance team of 6, handling all day-to-day management of their incoming and outgoing money.
This is the perfect role for an experienced Finance/Accounts Officer looking to step into a beautiful corporate building alongside some highly influential people.
Description
In this role, you will be integral to the financial team, focusing on essential accounting functions. Your expertise will ensure accuracy in the financial records and contribute significantly to our financial stability and compliance.
Keys responsibilities include:
• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing and collection of payments.
• Accounts Payable: Handle payment processing and vendor communications.
• Fixed Assets: Oversee the recording and tracking of fixed assets.
• Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements with internal records.
• General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Ad Hoc Reporting & Supporting Duties: Assist with various reporting tasks and support other financial operations as needed.
Profile
In return you will receive approximately $60k - $70k + Super.
Being based in Newcastle Central, you will be conveniently located next to their public transport links, and they also have parking. Being part of all events, they regularly hold, this is a great opportunity to put your networking hat on and meet some great people.
