JWS – E&P Lawyer/Associate – Sydney  (2-5 PAE)

You will be working in a close knit team including the Partner and a Senior Associate, giving you great exposure to learning and development opportunities, learning first hand from one of the leading experts in native title matters in particular.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support on planning and environment law matters, including native title, development applications, environment impact assessments and compliance issues.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and submissions to regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and stay abreast of relevant legislative developments.
Requirements:
  • Admission as a solicitor in Queensland with a minimum of 2-5 years of post-admission experience in planning and environment law.
  • Strong understanding of Queensland planning and environmental legislation, regulations, and policies.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building lasting relationships.
