Our client who is number 1 globally within their industry is seeking an Engagement Manager. This will be reporting into the Head of Corporate & Government Affairs and working within a collegiate and focused team.
The successful candidate will develop and execute strategies to ensure that public policy relations to the company is considered and sustainable. The role will also entail supporting current campaign objectives in new category transition and preparation support for local and regional reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and advise Head of Corporate & Government Affairs on State and Territory regulatory changes in respect of excise and ESG as it relates to corporate
- Provide support to global teams on key public issues.
- Support the Government Affairs team to deliver key milestones on priority campaigns
- Work with functions within the business to identify commercial opportunities
- Keep key stakeholders updated on proposed restrictions, prioritisation for action and key progress updates.
Key Requirements:
- 6 to 8 years’ experience in political, media and corporate affairs issues
- Comprehensive understanding of government and regulatory
- Ability to distill complex issues into executable strategy.
- Understanding of commercial drivers within a large multinational.
- Proven ability to develop strong internal and external relationships and enjoy working in a team environment .
- Strong influencing and communication skills
