About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing, Private Equity backed consumables business with a national footprint, who has experienced strong organic and acquisitive growth.
The company is continuing to expand through bolt-on acquisitions, with further growth and potential IPO activity on the horizon.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of two key divisions. This is a true value-add role, combining commercial insights, financial leadership and integration responsibilities.
  • Partner with divisional leaders to deliver financial planning, forecasting, and strategic insights.
  • Build and review budgets, forecasts, and long-term growth models.
  • Provide commercial support through competitor analysis, market trends, and business cases for investment.
  • Drive performance improvement by analysing financial and operational results.
  • Recommend productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Establish and embed financial and governance processes in line with Group standards.
  • Support deal execution of bolt-on acquisitions and play a key role in post-deal integration.
  • Contribute directly to the value creation agenda of a PE-backed growth business.

Skills and Qualifications

You will bring a strong commercial finance toolkit and the ability to influence at senior levels:
  • 8–10 years’ experience with a strong foundation in accounting.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA / CPA / CFA.
  • Ideally exposure to a product-based, multi-entity or growth environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including use of BI and reporting tools.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and present insights with clarity.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
  • High level of commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
  • Advanced Excel skills: experience supporting acquisitions or integrations highly regarded.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to:
  • Work directly with an impressive CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Gain exposure to M&A activity, integration, and corporate development projects.
  • Build career capital in a PE-backed business with significant growth and transformation underway.
  • Join a high calibre finance team in a business of scale, complexity and ambition.
