Client Details

Our client is a leading logistics company situated in the heart of Mascot, NSW, known for their comprehensive logistics solutions and commitment to excellence. Currently on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to help maintaining and enhance their financial processes.

Description 

The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for a broad range of activities, including managing incoming payments, performing account reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and supporting the finance team with various tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial stability and accuracy of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Conducting detailed reconciliations of account transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Generating and managing invoices and handling billing queries.
  • Assisting with monthly financial reports and reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
Profile
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role, with a preference for experience in the logistics or related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving approach to challenges.
