Warehouse Supervisor

•      $50M food manufacturing business based near Lakemba

•      Warehouse Supervisor responsible for inbound ingredients and outbound finished goods

•      2-3 Years experience required, work for a fantastic Supply Chain Manager with a focus on process and systems 

Client Details

The business makes a variety of food products for restaurants, QSR, Cruise ships, sporting areas and recently the retailers in the form of ready meals. Reporting to the new Supply Chain Manager the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for inbound and outbound warehouse operations from the Lakemba production kitchen.

Description

Reporting to the newly installed Supply Chain Manager the Warehouse Supervisor will work in conjunction with other department heads :

• Manage a team of 6 in the warehouse and transport area 
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas, Communicating job expectations and coaching employees
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload through accurate rostering
• Focus on system and process implementation

Profile

To be successful in applying for this role you will have several years experience in a Warehouse Supervisor/ Manager role. You will have worked across inbound and outbound operations within a food manufacturing or distribution environment and be hands on in your approach to leadership. You will hold a good understanding and have worked with a ERP system and be able to deliver to demanding customers.

Job Offer

$85,000- $90,000 + super
