My client is a leading Telco organisation known for its remarkable organic growth, great reputation in the Australian market & for its fantastic culture supporting learning, development and career progression. They are seeking a high-calibre Treasury Accounting Manager to join the Treasury team in this dynamic role.
 
Description
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Treasury Accountant or a Junior Treasury Accounting Manager to join a large, reputable organisation and gain depth & breadth of experiences in this end-to-end role.

Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the maintenance of loan and applicable fee schedules to ensure drawdowns, repayments and interest payments occur in a timely manner.
  • Managing the settlement and reconciliation of all derivative instruments
  • Ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of treasury transactions, including month-end entries.
  • Support the preparation of financial accounts and external reporting material
  • Analysis, preparation and review of the liquidity forecast and settlement of the Group’s working capital and structured finance arrangements.
  • Mark-to-market calculation of outstanding derivative transactions and the associated hedge accounting entries.
  • Calculation of the financial covenants required under the Group’s debt facilities.
  • Preparation, review and settlement of any and all of the Group’s working capital and structured finance arrangements.
  • Preparation of the monthly cash flow, interest rate swaps, hedging and FX management reports.
  • Preparation and review of the FX and Treasury reports.
Profile
To be successful, you must have:
  • CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years accounting experience post qualification
  • 4+ years treasury accounting and corporate treasury experience.
  • Financial Markets background
  • Strong excel, modelling and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of data, identify issues/variances and communicate to various stakeholders.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Pro-active approach to issue resolution. 
  • Strong financial markets and accounting background relevant to corporate treasury
Job Offer
The salary on offer for this permanent role is $130k to $150k base + super + bonus potential.
