The Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst will join the market risk team, focusing on all market risk-related needs within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine risk reporting and monitoring of energy portfolio.
- Maintaining Energy Trading Risk Management system.
- Analysing the wholesale energy market and advising the business as required.
- Share insights and analysis with senior management.
- Business partner with the Finance team for month-end valuations.
- Undertaking risk measurement calculations e.g. Market risk; credit risk.
- Refining risk management policies and procedures.
To be successful, you must have:
- 3-5 years’ experience in quantitative risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline – mathematics, finance, engineering, actuarial etc.
- Energy, Banking/Financial Services industry experience will be highly regarded.
- Role can be either Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD based
