A newly created opportunity has arisen for a senior front-end construction lawyer to join one of Australia’s leading engineering organisations. Working alongside a highly experienced team you will be responsible for providing transactional legal support to the organisation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Reviewing and negotiating proposed contracts and providing advice and support to the companies executives
• Providing strategic advice and guidance to the bid teams
• Providing the business with front-end advice on a variety of water, energy and renewables projects
• Keeping the business abreast of legal risks
• Mentoring and training legal counsels in the team

 
 Key Requirements:
 

• Ideally  8+ years PQE gained from a leading private practice firm or in-house organisation
• In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts;
• Experience in advising on complex transactions
• Demonstrated relationship building and influencing skills
• Strong negotiation skills combined with sound commercial judgement
