Client Details
My client is a leading Non-Bank Lender experiencing massive organic growth within the Asset Management sector. My client is seeking a high calibre and technical Senior Financial Control Manager with a Trust Accounting background in a similar role.

Description
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure the timely completion of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, year-end & half-year financial statement preparation
  • Group consolidation
  • Hedge accounting and managing interest rate risk
  • Accounting policy and papers
  • Oversee the trust accounting team and bringing this function in-house
  • Manage 2 direct reports
  • Manage the relationship with external auditors 
  • Partner with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to review, analyse and provide commentary of the division’s statutory and management results
  • Deliver continual improvements to finance processes
  • Collaborate with the Treasury, FP&A and Tax teams 
Profile
This is an excellent opportunity for a CA Qualified experienced Financial Control Manager with a Trust Accounting background within Financial Services, looking to broaden their exposure and work for a well known brand with excellent progression opportunities. 

The successful candidate must be:
  • CA qualified (CPA Qualified candidates will be disregarded).
  • Must have 8+ years of Financial Control background within Financial Services, ideally with Securitisation experience.
  • Must have experience with performing or oiverseeing Trust Accounting 
  • Must have strong technical accounting experience including accouning policy, hedge accounting and working closely with IFRS / AASB standards
  • Confidence and the ability to hold your own when liaising with senior stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, hands on approach, can-do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative environment
  • Advanced / Intermediate Excel skills (ability to build pivots, v-lookups and complex formulas)
Job Offer
This is a permanent role and the salary on offer is $180k to $200k base + super + bonus potential.
