Senior Accountant / Supervisor
Business Services & Tax (Remote) Property Investment Clients

We’re partnering with a modern, fast-growing accounting firm that has built a reputation as a specialist in the property investment space. With a national client base and a strong offshore processing team, they’re now looking for a confident and experienced Senior or Supervisor-level Accountant to take ownership of client relationships, review work, and play a key role in a lean, forward-thinking leadership structure.
This is a fully remote role with no in-office expectations — ideal for someone who values flexibility, autonomy, and variety in their work.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll act as the key liaison between Partners, clients, and the offshore accounting team. You’ll manage a portion of each Partner’s client base — primarily individuals, trusts, and SMSFs, with some company work — and take ownership of reviewing compliance and advisory work, particularly in relation to property structuring and investment.
You’ll also have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the table and help shape internal processes and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on property investors and structured entities
Review work prepared by the offshore team including tax returns and financials for individuals, trusts, SMSFs, and companies
Provide strategic input on client structures, particularly around property investment and tax outcomes
Work closely with Partners to support client onboarding, structuring, and setup (trusts, SMSFs, etc.)
Identify areas to improve workflow, technology use, and internal systems
Mentor and support junior team members as the business grows

What You’ll Bring

4+ years’ experience in a business services/tax role within public practice
CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
Strong understanding of Australian tax law and structuring, particularly relating to property investment
Experience with trust and SMSF compliance
Experience with Xero and working in a tech-forward environment
