This firm is surrounded by amazing coffee shops and a brand new, newly renovated office. In this role, there will be a mix of hands-on accounting and management of 5 junior staff, with a focus on providing advice to clients. The team is progressive, collaborative and very supportive. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with local businesses, while also being an effective leader that nurtures junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside managers and partners, while guiding a team of 2-4 intermediates and juniors.
- Oversee tasks including management accounting, board report packs, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and succession planning.
- Partake in the client engagement process and provide client advice.
- Complete tax returns and financial statements for various tax matters.
- Work with a diverse range of local clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Host virtual and face to face meetings with clients.
- Review work and organise workflows for your team.
Skills and Experience
- At least 3-4+ years of experience within public practice.
- Near completion or complete CA/CPA qualification.
- Be technically adept with accounting standards.
- Be able to develop relationships with clients and team members.
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
