Client Details
The client is a food manufacturing business near Liverpool running 12 + lines, 24/6.5. As a result of growth and additional shift sbeing added the busines requires a Production Shift Manager for the weekend night shif. You will be in charge of 1 line and 6 staff initially which will expand to multiple lines and a full shift operation soon.
Description
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will hold control of the weekend night shift. On shift you will be responsible for circa 6 staff and initially 1 brand new line. Your focus will be on output, safety and producing right first time to retailer standards. You will be expected to engage in CI and waste reduction projects when youre not on the shop floor with your operators and supervisors. Working hours are 18:00- 06:00 Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.
Profile
You are an experienced Production/ Shift Manager from within food/beverage/ pharmnaceutical manufacturing. You will be able to evidence runnings an automated line and small team and be able to evidence an understanding of CI and Lean Manufacturing. You will be flexible on shift work and excited about working for a famous food manufacturing brand.
