The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and passionate People & Development Coordinator to join a growing and innovative organisation and support the team on a national basis. You will act as the linchpin within this function, providing end-to-end administration and coordination support, along with managing the smooth running of the employee lifecycle.
This newly created role will be primarily based in Sydney, with specific Sydney office responsibilities, while providing overflow support to other national offices as needed – Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane.

The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and passionate People & Development Coordinator to join a growing and innovative organisation and support the team on a national basis. You will act as the linchpin within this function, providing end-to-end administration and coordination support, along with managing the smooth running of the employee lifecycle.

People & Development
- Acting as the first point of contact for any people related enquiries within your assigned group, and escalting from there as needed
- Facilitating new starter inductions and trainings in Sydney and providing overflow support to other national offices
- Conducting reference checks and facilitating background screening processes
- Auditing and maintaining the ATS system and ensuring talent pools are up-to-date
- Creating and updating candidate profiles for client presentations as needed
- Supporting the practicing certificate renewal process
- Managing time recording processes for talent in Australia
- Organizing internal events including Christmas parties and end of financial year gatherings
- Supporting client-facing events by managing venue bookings, invitations, and logistics
- Handling general office administration including stationery ordering and couriers
- Providing administrative support to our HQ teams across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane
The Successful candidate:
- Full working rights in Australia
- 2-3 years of experience in a corporate environment, preferably in professional services or legal
- Tertiary qualifications (degree level preferred) or equivalent strong educational background in business administration or HR
- A confident and proactive approach with excellent communication skills
- Strong ability to manage expectations and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and adaptability to learn new systems
- Professional demeanour suitable for interacting with senior stakeholders in a professional services environment
