Job description
- Opportunity for passionate Communications / Content Officer to join a collaborative and friendly team

The role:
This role will support the Marketing and Communications team in the delivery and evaluation of campaigns and projects to promote the organisations goals and strategic plan.
The role will work across a range of digital systems and communication channels to deliver consistent messaging aligned to the overall brand and organisational values.
- Monitoring and regularly updating website and intranet content, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Producing the fortnightly e-Newsletter, including liaison with staff for further information, preparing articles, photography and distribution
- Researching and gathering information for articles and media releases
- Writing articles as required for the website
- Contributing to content planning and development for social media platforms and maintain the social media calendar
- Preparing and uploading social media posts that reflect the approved strategy and maintain a consistent online presence
- Assisting with scheduling and implementation of photography shoots for the website and publications
- Taking photos of school activities for social media and other purposes
- Assisting in the editing and proof-reading of school publications and newsletters
- Adhering to the editorial style guide and branding guidelines
- Contributing to the maintenance of a well-catalogued photographic and video library for promotional purposes
- Assisting in the implementation of marketing campaigns including the maintenance and preparation of eDM lists, collation of feedback and campaign analytics
The Successful candidate:
- Must be able to work in Strathfield, Monday - Friday
- Previous experience in a similar Communications, Content or Marketing role
- Experience with content management systems in the delivery and maintenance of website and e-newsletters
- Experience and familiarity with the digital landscape including social media
- Experience in writing and editing articles, media releases and reports
