Manager Statutory Reporting
NSW Government | Grade 9 | 6-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage annual Early Close and Year-end financial statements to meet all legislative and audit requirements.

  • Serve as the lead liaison with the Audit Office of NSW and other external stakeholders.

  • Provide technical accounting advice across the agency, including on new and complex transactions.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Cluster accounting policies.

  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and financial reporting reforms.

What We’re Looking For:

  • CA/CPA qualified with tertiary qualifications in accounting or financial management.

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with extensive experience in statutory reporting within a complex organisation.

  • Experience in applying Australian Accounting Standards and advising on financial policy.

  • Highly collaborative with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
