Client Details

 Our client in the non for-profit membership space has created a new role for a dynamic and forward thinking Finance Professional. 

Description 

• Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
• Determine model preferred model for transactional process delivery.
• Predicting future financial trends-forecasts etc
• Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Preparation of templates for annual budgets, forecasting and monthly variance reporting
• Reviewing, monitoring, and managing department budgets
• Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
• Ensure recording of all financial transactions and HR process in Xero
• Examine and provide reports on membership data

• Provide insights for organisational strategic projects
• Monitor grant opportunities for organisation and affiliates and assist in acquittal processes. 
• Work closely with external banking and audit organisations
• Other duties as required

Job Offer

• Highly organised with a strong attention to detail. Demonstrated financial management and budgetary experience.
• Strong track record of relationship management.
• Ability to liaise with, manage and build relations with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated appreciation and knowledge of the complexity of the not-for-profit sector
• Knowledge, understanding and experience in delivery of sound governance principles working with volunteer Board
• Stakeholder management experience.
