Client Details

 Our client is a leader in their field, and they are looking to hire a detail orientated, commercially savvy accountant. 

Description 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Bank Reports
• Commission, discount and rebate accruals.
• Standard Costing adjustments.
• Bank Reporting
• Commission, Discount and Rebate accruals
• Standard costing adjustments
• Reconciliation of prepayments, sundry accruals and Fixed Assets
• Monthly P&L and variance analysis
• Update forecast for P&L expenses and Retail Store sales
• Payroll
• AASB16 entries
• Prepare, reconcile and clear intercompany amounts across all 5 subsidiaries
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow Management including AUD and USD Wages, PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Dividends, Rent and GST and other indirect taxes.
• Assist in producing monthly board reports including commentary & analysis and forecasting, particularly business partnering with Department
• Support FM/FC in identifying risks and opportunities to achieving Budget.
• Oversee group credit cards including monthly statements, collection and coding and final payments.
• Preparation and lodgment of monthly BAS/VAT returns
• Preparation of annual FBT returns
• Be point of contact for external auditors year-end audit queries

Profile

To be considered, you will have 3 years' experience minimum. 
CA/ CPA or Cima qualified. 
Experience in retail is highly advantageous.
