Client Details

Due to an internal promotion, my client is seeking a switched on assistant accountant to join their team. You will be a strong communicator who is used to working in a high-volume business. 

  
Description 

• Bank reconciliations for all bank accounts including daily consumer payments.
• Reconciliation of weekly payments
• Assist with month end and year end journals, reconciliations and financial reporting
•  Reviewing and processing of scheme participant adjustments
• Attending to client related queries
• Assist in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions where needed.
• Assist Finance team in ad hoc analytical tasks, reports generation and preparation
•  Assist with the calculation/processing of credit and debit adjustments, refund requests and write offs
• Assist with the annual internal audit and external audit of the scheme
•  Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to, with those relating to accounting and finance policies
• Documenting, vetting and if required, changing processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the role.

Profile

To be considered you would need to have come from a high- volume complex organisation 
Be a strong communicatior who is looking to learn and progresss 
Working towards CPA/ CA
