Join a thriving property-focused enterprise for a fixed 6-month contract role with excellent hourly compensation. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CA/CPA accountant with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a lean finance team
• Manage operational finance for the Australian property business
• Report directly to the Head of Finance
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and robust controls
• Enhance financial controls and streamline processes
• Take charge of the entire month-end process
• Coach, lead, and develop the finance team
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Collaborate with non-finance stakeholders
• Lead the transactional finance team (AR, AP & Payroll)
• Streamline and automate accounts payable and receivable processes

Requirements:

• Qualified CA/CPA
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in professional services, specifically Audit/Business Services
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills
