Description
Responsible for providing assistance to the Legal Team with research, document review, drafting, settling and arranging execution of legal documents, and other support as required.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the business
- Document review, including supply agreements prior to execution
- Conducting research
- Updating legal records
- Preparation and editing of legal contracts and documents
- Drafting of resolutions
- Attending to ASIC lodgments
- Assisting with the document execution approval process
- Arrange document execution both electronically via DocuSign and wet ink signatures
- Reviewing legal sign offs
- Maintaining up-to-date registers of legal documentation
- Support with compliance
Candidate Profile
- 2+ years’ experience in a paralegal role with commercial or retail transaction exposure
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of general legal and Australian law terminology and principles
- Ability to analyse and review any legal documents
- Ability to work under pressure
- Commercial acumen
- Proactive approach and drive to take ownership of your own matters
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge and experience of an electronic signing platform such as DocuSign
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, Diploma of Paralegal services or Certificate of Legal Administration
