The role:

The HR Business Partner is a critical role for the business and the key responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
  • Aligning organisational priorities and strategies and applying them to support leaders.
  • Providing strategic advice to formulate effective people strategies and recruitment solutions aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Analysis and interpretation of people data to inform innovative solutions on a range of people and culture issues.
  • Engagement with key Senior Leaders to champion people and culture initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leaders re talent building and pipelining.
  • Working collaboratively across organisational boundaries to identify improvement opportunities to implement organisational and/or cultural change.
  • Delivering fit-for-purpose verbal and written advice to several audiences, including Senior Leaders on complex people and culture issues.
  • Planning and leading the activities of a team, including the development and delivery of projects, strategies, and initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of intended results.
  • Coach, lead and mentor team members to meet objectives.
  • Provide tailored coaching to uplift capability re performance management discussions.
  • Evaluate current team members and identify areas of training improvement.
  • Provide HR policy guidance.
  • Evaluate training programs.
  • Suggest new HR strategies.
The ideal candidates will have:
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar HR Business Partner position with extensive ER experience and ability to support in areas of recruitment and DNI project.
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will come from a Non-Profit background but not a deal breaker.
  • The ability to align strategic priorities to business activity and achieve these results in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret large data sets to develop and apply innovative solutions to complex people issues; and 
  • Understanding of fundamental payroll principles.
