Client Details
My client is a global Financial Services organisation diversified across asset management and lending with a strong focus on innovation and growth.
They are seeking a high calibre Financial Control Manager with a Lending background to join their Finance team in this end-to-end role.

Description
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure the timely completion of month-end close and daily balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare year-end & half-year financial statements 
  • Consolidation of monthly, half-year and year-end reporting.
  • Manage relationship with external auditors for the Lending division.
  • Research and preparation of the division’s technical accounting papers, including credit losses and revenue.
  • Preparation of subsidiary accounts for the mortgage lending business.
  • Partner with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to review, analyse and provide commentary of the division’s statutory and management results.
Profile
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant or Junior Manager ideally within Lending/Securitisation looking to broaden their exposure and work for a well known global brand that offers excellent career progression opportunities with a clear pathway to Senior Manager.

The successful candidate must be:
  • CA/CPA qualified 
  • 4+ years Financial Control experience in a similar role 
  • Securitisation/Non-Bank Lender/Lending background 
  • Prior experience in a Group Accounting role will be highly desired
  • Detail-oriented, can-do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate Excel skills (ability to build pivots, v-lookups and complex formulas)
Job Offer
This is a permanent role and the salary on offer is $130k to $140k base + super + bonus potential.
